modelhub.help ("we", "us", or "our") operates a directory and recommendation service for verified Chinese AI models and providers, including an AI assistant that helps you discover models. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Account information. When you sign in with a third-party OAuth provider (such as GitHub or Google), we receive your basic profile information from that provider (e.g., name, email, and avatar) to create and secure your account.

Usage data. We automatically collect limited technical and usage data such as IP address, browser type, pages visited, and approximate location, to operate and improve the service.

Assistant queries. When you use the AI assistant, your questions, the model results shown, and your feedback (👍/👎) may be stored to improve answer quality. We do not treat these as private communications.

Cookies. We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and to remember preferences. We do not use third-party advertising trackers.

2. How We Use Information

• Provide, secure, and maintain the service;
• Authenticate your account and prevent abuse;
• Improve search results, model recommendations, and the AI assistant;

3. Data Sharing

• Service providers that help us operate the service, such as our payment processor (Dodo Payments) for billing and our hosting provider (Alibaba Cloud) for infrastructure;

Our service is hosted on infrastructure located in China (Alibaba Cloud). By using the service, you understand that your information may be processed and stored outside your country of residence, including in jurisdictions that may have different data protection rules.

We retain your account information for as long as your account is active. Usage logs and assistant queries are retained for a limited period necessary to operate and improve the service, after which they are deleted or anonymized.
